It's free, and there is nothing to buy

No card, no trial that expires, no plan above the one you are on. There is nothing on sale to members — not a subscription, not a feature, not an upgrade.

One thing is sold, and it is not sold to you: a local business can pay for a listing that shows its offers to members nearby. It changes nothing about your account, and the offers only reach you inside the alert radius you set yourself. What businesses get.

What everybody gets

  • Local alerts within about 2km of you, adjustable to 5km — the same range for every member
  • Placement you set yourself, rounded to ~100m, with no address ever collected
  • Posting reports, once your email is confirmed
  • Content reporting on every alert, read by a person
  • A personal invite link for bringing your neighbours on
  • Installable on your phone, from any browser
  • Account deletion whenever you like, from your own dashboard

Why it costs nothing

Patrol is built and run by Conjora Limited alongside the other CheckIreland sites, and it is small enough to cost very little to operate. A safety network that charges an estate at the door never reaches the density that makes it work, and the density is the product.

There is no advertising in Patrol, and member data is not sold, rented or shared with anybody. Those two things are not on the table as a way of paying for it.

If a paid feature is ever introduced, it will be announced rather than discovered, and nothing described as free today will be moved behind it.

Check your area before you join

It costs nothing either, and it is the answer that actually decides whether Patrol is worth your time today.
